AZIZ HILALI
Moroccan Telecommunications Graduate Institution Professor
Aziz Hilali is a Professor at the Moroccan Telecommunications Graduate Institution. He graduated from the University of Grenoble, where he earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. He has published a large number of scientific papers and given a substantial number of oral presentations at international meetings.
Aziz Hilali is a member and former chair of North Africa IGF (NAIGF), he participated in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and the different Internet Governance Forum meetings as a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Committee (MAG) during the period 2009-2013. He has also served in ICANN as Chair of de The African Regional At-Large Organization (AFRALO) within ICANN from the period 2012-2016, as member of the 2018 and 2019 ICANN Nominating Committee. He is currently AFRALO Vice-Chair. Dr Hilali is also President of the Mediterranean Federation of Internet Associations (www.fmai.tn.org). and Vice-Chair and Founding Member of the ISOC Morocco (www.misoc.ma).
